"Traveling Japanese Painting" exhibition held!

One of the features of the Asuka III, the largest luxury cruise ship registered in Japan, which is scheduled to launch in 2025, is that the interior is decorated with works by Japan's leading artists.

Reiji Hiramatsu was also selected as one of the artists whose works will be installed on board the ship, and created 36 large-scale works for the Asuka III, with the theme of "Japanese paintings traveling the world." Among these, about 30 works, mainly based on Monet's Water Lilies, that colorfully depict the four seasons of Japan, will be exhibited in advance at the Yugawara Museum of Art (Kanagawa).
